RATTAIL - a leading English pattern since the 1700s. The rat's tail on the back of the spoon and fork ends was originally a tang of metal that joined them to the handle.
Standard sets are based on 7 piece place sets which consist of a table knife, table fork, dessert knife, dessert fork, dessert spoon, soup spoon and tea spoon, and 10 piece place sets which additionally have a fish knife, fish fork and coffee spoon.
The contents of sets can be varied to suit requirements and all pieces are also sold individually, so sets can be built up over time. We also have a fine choice of cutlery cabinets and tables.
