This is a unique collection of cutlery designed by the David Mellor, Royal Designer for Industry, widely recognised as the outstanding British cutlery designer of the 20th Century.

His cutlery has an international reputation for its qualities of design and manufacture.  A Yorkshire born silversmith and cutler, David has drawn on the finest Sheffield traditions of craftsmanship in evolving a product altogether of our time.

David Mellor has won numerous awards for his cutlery. His work is in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.  David Mellor cutlery is produced in a remarkable small-scale English factory by highly skilled craftsmen and women who maintain the exemplary standards for which David Mellor cutlery has always been known.
