PRIDE was designed in 1953 by David Mellor while still a student at the Royal College of Art. It was one of the first Design Council Award Winners in 1957 and is an acknowledged modern classic.

PRIDE sterling silver is also available with white or black handled knives instead of the sterling silver handled knives shown here. The design is also made in silver plate and in hand polished stainless steel.

Standard sets are based on the 7 piece place set which consists of a table knife, table fork, soup spoon, dessert knife, dessert fork, dessert spoon and tea spoon. All pieces can be purchased individually and sets can be made up to suit personal requirements.

In addition there is a 24 piece starter set consisting of 6 x table knives, table forks, dessert spoons and tea spoons.
