PRIDE is an acknowledged modern classic. It was David Mellor's first cutlery and he designed it in 1953. Pride is in many international collections including the Victoria & Albert in London and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Pride silver plate is plated with an ultra heavy plating deposit of 40 microns, well in excess of the British Standard BS5577** - the standard for 50 year plate. This standard is based on the cutlery being used three times a day, every day for 50 years!

This cutlery is also available with white handled knives instead of the standard knives which have silver plated handles. The white handles are made of acetal resin, which is durable and totally dishwashersafe. White handled knives considerably reduce the price of sets. For example, a 42 piece set with white handled knives costs £645, with silver plated knives - £730.

Our standard sets are for 6, 8 or 12 x 7 piece place sets. The 7 piece place set consists of a table knife, table fork, soup spoon, dessert knife, dessert fork, dessert spoon and teaspoon.

The 24 piece starter set consists of 6 table knives, 6 table forks, 6 dessert spoons and 6 teaspoons.
