About the Brand
Carrs Silver is a Sheffield manufacturer rich in the traditional silversmith skills the city is famous for and committed to strengthening its reputation in the global market for classic and contemporary luxury hotel silverware. All Carrs Silver products are made in Sheffield, and grace the homes of many who appreciate the finer things in life around the world.
Established by Ron Carr in 1977, initially making silverware gifts and accessories, the family-run business has grown to become one of the UK’s premier manufacturers of fine quality silverware and the largest supplier of silver hotel cutlery blanks to many other silverware companies.
The Carrs philosophy has always been to encompass new technologies and techniques whilst employing the finest of traditional hand skills. Many of the workforce are second-generation Carrs employees, and the company regularly appoints apprentices so the experienced team members can pass on their silversmith skills to a new generation.

Why Lincoln House
Specialist knowledge you can rely on
We have been making and selling fine cutlery since 1967. As a second-generation family business, we offer experienced, practical advice to help you choose the right pattern, material and quantity for your home or business.
One of the UK’s most comprehensive ranges
Our collection includes sterling silver, silver plated and stainless steel cutlery, from traditional English patterns to contemporary designs. Alongside our own Sheffield-made cutlery, we offer leading British and European brands, giving you genuine choice in one place.
Buy exactly what you need
There is no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to cutlery. That is why nearly all of our ranges are available as individual pieces as well as sets, whether you are replacing a few items, adding to an existing pattern, or buying a complete canteen.
Better value, direct from the source
By supplying cutlery direct from the manufacturer, we are often able to offer better prices than traditional retail shops. Many of our cutlery sets are also progressively discounted, so larger purchases offer even better value.
Personal service, not a call centre
When you contact Lincoln House, you will speak to someone knowledgeable and helpful. We pride ourselves on offering professional, personal service and are always happy to answer questions, give guidance or take orders by phone.
Trusted by homes and hospitality alike
We supply cutlery for private homes, restaurants, hotels and prestigious venues across the UK and worldwide. Whatever your requirement, we aim to make buying fine cutlery straightforward, informed and reassuring.
